Na quinta-feira, equipes de filmagem chegaram a Upper Craigs para gravar cenas da série policial da Sky, dividida em seis partes.
A série é ‘Meantime’, uma adaptação para a tela do romance homônimo de grande sucesso do comediante Frankie Boyle.
A história acompanha o viciado Felix McAveety, interpretado por McAvoy, cuja vida vira de cabeça para baixo quando seu melhor amigo é encontrado assassinado em um parque de Glasgow.
Segundo o Glasgow World, algumas cenas também serão filmadas em Govan e Merchant City.
Uma multidão se reuniu no cruzamento com a Port Street para assistir às filmagens.
James estava de bom humor no set de filmagem, cumprimentando os moradores locais que vieram assistir às gravações. Ele foi filmado sentado no chão em frente à livraria The Book Nook e, em seguida, caminhando pela rua. Um morador local afirmou ter visto Frankie Boyle dentro do café e da livraria. Ele também brincou sobre oferecer uma cerveja a McAvoy. Uma estudante de Stirling disse ao The Courier que era “legal” ver as filmagens na porta de casa.
Ela disse: “James McAvoy é um nome tão importante. É muito legal ver algo assim aqui. Normalmente seria em Glasgow ou Edimburgo.”
